* Inspired by our story on the restoration of a Hudson Italia in the May 2013 issue of Hemmings Classic Car, the bowtie6 blog recently posted a story on the Hudson Italia prototype, with details on how it differed from the production versions.

* Frank Lloyd Wright is perhaps best known for the houses he designed, but he also did an auto dealership for Max Hoffman. Core77 had the story on the dealership last year and noted that it remained in operation as a Mercedes dealer in New York City at least through the end of 2012. We should have swung by when we were recently in NYC to see what’s become of it. (via)

* Obviously, if you want to test a digital turbine controller, you find an Allison t63c18 Turboshaft and install it in a Triumph Spitfire. Or, at least, that’s what one mechanical engineering student is doing over on Stanceworks. (via)
